We arrived 30 minutes before closing as our dash warning light had just come on and our car was over heating. Jason, the service advisor, and I believe his name was Baylon the mechanic, immediately looked at the car and determined the serpentine belt had broke. They squeezed us in and and completed the work before closing. They were professional, courteous, and fixed the issue.

They damaged my headliner in my truck by pulling on the liner making it separate and hang down. Then they tried to charge me $3500 to fix their mistake. They also wouldn't stand behind the work they did from a previous time they fix a leak. they said it is leaking again.

Shady is how I would best describe Murdock Chevy in Logan. I purchased a used car and it is clear to me that they hid issues. Pushed broken panels back in so they appeared normal and did not disclose this fact. I'd look else where if I were in the market for a car again. Edit: the Murdock team reached out below to address the issue; however, when I emailed their Care Team they never responded.
Called and made an appointment on a vehicle, I was on the way down from salt lake so it was a 2 hour drive. I specifically asked that they grab the keys because it was a long drive and I didn’t want it to sell while I was on the way down. Well I was 5 minutes away when they called and told me they sold it, 4 hours wasted! Don’t bother making an appointment here they don’t care anyway!
What a great experience! I was looking for a specific AT4x and running into trouble. Chris Naser and his team made it happen! They arranged to get the truck to Logan, worked out a great deal and took my lease return. I was in and out in 90 minutes! I want to start saying sales and financing employees were great! However I bought my ram 2500 diesel last Aug 2025 153k miles and the transmission blew up April 2026 162k miles. 9k miles!!!! I think I’m supposed to be owed my $1k back in Gap insurance too, something about if I payoff/move the loan from originating lender to another I get that money back I paid for Gap insurance. I could be mistaken on how that works!
What is up with the disgusting video that was put out with the two girls mounting one another while driving off like they were going to have sex? Do better Murdock!! You literally have a girl sitting in a seat questioning if the action by the other is appropriate. The other using her place of authority asking if the other is a sales person. Purchased an as-is vehicle here. Note that they perform no inspections of the vehicle prior to selling and will do nothing for you if sold in this way. Immediately had mechanical issues. Very disappointed.

The slogan "when you walk through our doors, you feel like family" doesn't really work when you won't talk to people who call, put them on multiple holds, and just push them to a virtual assistant. My brand new diesel Chevy truck has been in the shop for 3 weeks still not sure if they have fixed the electrical problem. 3 out of the 4 times I have been here the service and parts department have been horrific. From under 2 hours for an oil change to have a plastic piece replaced that wasn’t. The last experoence had me sitting there to replace the same plastic piece for 1.5 hours only to be told the new piece is warped. Of course when I ask to speak to a manager none is available. I would not recommend this place to my enemy.

Do NOT take your vehicle to be repaired here! Get an estimate somewhere else first. I took a vehicle here for a repair and they quoted me nearly $700 for the repair. That seemed extremely excessive so I went elsewhere for another opinion. I was quoted $169 for parts and labor for the same repair. After telling Murdoch I wasn’t going to have them do the repair they hit me with a $209 “diagnostic fee” which is actually more than the cost of the entire repair at the other place. This is nothing short of crooked.

We bought A used truck at Murdoch auto in Logan. We drove it back to Idaho and it wouldn’t start in the morning called them. They sent a man out to get it started. However, I’m compelled to leave a poor rating due to the ongoing issue of not receiving the title for my vehicle, even two weeks after the purchase.
I’ve been in contact with multiple individuals at the dealership, including my salesman, the sales manager, the title clerk, and the accounting department, but the situation remains unresolved.
While I understand that my purchase may not have been at the $50k price point, I still expect basic customer service and timely processing.

The GMC vehicle was good but the dealer made av $420 mistake on the sales tax offset for the trade in. The dealer has said they will correct ithe error but 3 people have not done what they committed to do, even after several weeks and multiple contacts.. Also their service “advisor”’has said they are overbooked and showed no interest in resolving an issue with the heads up display, The salesman suggested I take it to a different dealer. This is about the service department. I went in to ask about a TSB (technical service bulletin) on my Colorado. The woman took the information (TSB number, vin, etc) and said she would get back to me on what to do about it. Over the next 3 weeks I went back 3 times and called 3 times. They always promised to call me back. Two months later, still haven't heard from them. Finally went to an independent mechanic shop.
My son meticulously saved up $7000 to purchase his first car, and saw online a 2013 Chevy Sonic at Murdock. He went to look at it. Took my truck to get a diagnosis, they claimed it had blow by and needed a new motor that would have cost 30k after install. Took it home set the cap on to see this blow by, nothing to be seen. Just liars trying to rob you.
If you’re looking for a sales guy that is super easy going and great to work with, Chris Baugh is your guy. He was super helpful, not pushy, patient and took great care of us. Highly recommend him. Still recommend Chris but sadly he doesn’t work there anymore. Don’t fall for their trap of buying an extended warranty. They won’t cover anything. We know because they wouldn’t cover our broken window. Don’t buy any extras here! You will not be taken care of!
Had a new GMC truck courtesy delivered here and upon arrival truck was horribly scratched!!! Salesman Chris said “we are not responsible” come to find out the dealer doing the PDI is absolutely responsible for checking for scratches. Just all around a terrible experience.
Kinda shameful that the EV chargers are broken. I would have happily paid good money to use them. I was considering buying a car from you guys but now I'm not so sure.
